About the role
To engineer scalable software applications and AI-driven solutions, combining robust backend architecture with applied AI, intelligent agents, and workflow automation to support product development and business operations.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain backend services, REST APIs, database architectures, and responsive frontend applications.
- Develop AI-powered applications using LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agent-based workflows.
- Build intelligent automations and integrate AI capabilities with enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
- Implement AI evaluation, security controls, monitoring, and performance optimisation.
- Deploy, maintain, and document production applications, ensuring reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years' professional experience in backend or full-stack software engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js (TypeScript) or Python, with experience in REST APIs, PostgreSQL, and scalable backend systems.
- Demonstrable experience integrating LLM APIs, building RAG pipelines, and developing AI agents or tool-calling workflows.
- Working knowledge of React or Next.js, Docker, Git, CI/CD, and cloud deployment.
- Understanding of AI security, evaluation, monitoring, and production reliability. Ability to independently develop, deploy, and maintain production-grade applications.
